Back to School Message 22-23
The beginning of a new school year is a time of great excitement and anticipation. We are the only preK-2 school in the CMCSS, and we are proud to the be the St. B Bees! If you have an incoming kindergarten student, or have a friend or neighbor who has an incoming kindergarten student, and you or they still have not been able to get the documents brought to the office, we’ll need those documents for full registration.  Students who are not fully registered, are not on a class list yet, and we want all students to come to Back to School Night with an assigned teacher.

What do I do if I want to volunteer at the school?
Volunteers provide an essential link between our school and the community. You are invaluable to the success of our school and students. Volunteer help comes in many different forms. You may contact your child's teacher or the school office (648-5670), and we will help you get involved. We'll need you to fill out a volunteer form and visit us for a short volunteer orientation before being in rooms. We love our volunteers and thank you for giving us your time!

What do I need to know about parent pick up?
Car riders are to arrive no earlier than 8:15 a.m. Students should be dropped off at the Wilma Rudolph Boulevard entrance to the building between 8:15 and 8:35 a.m. The doors will be locked promptly at 8:35 a.m. Faculty and staff members will supervise their arrival to insure student safety. Please assist us in maintaining that safety by waiting for someone to approach and open the vehicle door before allowing your child to exit.Parents are to pick-up in the afternoon by lining up cars at the Wilma Rudolph Boulevard entrance. Parents should remain in their cars. Your child(ren) will be released when your car is first in line. The office will provide each family who is involved in the car rider process a car rider pass that should be placed where it can be seen by the adults releasing the students. Anyone picking up a student without this pass will be required to park and report to the office to sign the student out and will be asked for a government issued picture ID.

Who can pick up my child at school?
Only authorized persons (names on the emergency card) will be allowed to pick up a student. Students cannot be pulled from buses for parent pick-up, so please make sure to come in before 3pm. After 3pm, adults with an ID will need to travel to the Wilma Rudolph side to pick up children. All adults will be required to present a government issued picture ID prior to dismissing any student.

What are procedures for eating lunch with a child?
In order to eat lunch with a student, you must show a government issued picture ID AND be listed on the emergency card. Any special circumstances will require written notification and parent signature prior to the student's scheduled lunch time.

What do I need to bring to register my child?
Birth certificate, government issued ID to show guardianship of child, 2 proofs of address in our zone (electric, water, cable bill, lease, etc. with name of guardian), current shot record on Tennessee form, and any legal guardianship paperwork relevant to the child. Please know that only a guardian may register a child and sign the necessary paperwork. Please call 648-5670 for more assistance in this area.
